the elp system

ELP is a unique training system that focuses on the athletes individual specific limitations via ELP’s slow motion video analysis as well as our speed, power and force output assessments.

The program is then structured in such a way that these individual specific limitations are addressed in a manner that leads to dramatic improvements in movement, strength, speed, power and the ability to absorb and produce force.

Once entering the ELP system, the athlete/client proceeds through a specific order of training to fix deficiently performing traits as their physiology indicates from their assessment. The athlete will then move into a system of high intensity routines (high speed, high load, high volume) that corresponds to their needs and targets specific traits for performance such as strength, power and speed.

Programs are designed based on the needs and goals of the athlete.

WHAT’S NEXT?

SCHEDULE YOUR ASSESSMENT

For athletes 13 years and older, the assessment is the first step to getting started. The assessment is a critical part of our process and determines how you enter the ELP system.

The assessment includes:

  • A thorough review of health history and any injury history.

  • Slow Motion Video Analysis (GOATA Movement Screen) to determine movement quality and necessary recode regimen.

  • Dynamometer Force Output Measurements of 20+ individual muscles for baseline force output & symmetry analysis.

  • FRA Assessment - an advanced form of evaluating joint function and flexibility/mobility.

  • Power & Speed Testing such as vertical jump and laser sprint times (weather permitting)

  • Special Strengths and Reactive/Elastic testing** (age dependent)

At the conclusion of your assessment, you will be provided all the on-boarding material and information you and your athlete need to get started.
